SPIRITUAL REALITIES THAT ARE DIFFICULT FOR HUMANS TO ACCEPT

How many times have we heard children make the statement I DIDN’T ASK OR CHOOSE TO BE BORN? This couldn’t be further from the truth; as is the case regarding many Spiritual perspectives of physical reality and the human condition, that as humans we see differently. Let’s analyze some basic human assumptions from a Spiritual point of view. The first having to do with your greater identity.

1) WE ARE SPIRITS EXPERIENCING A HUMAN JOURNEY. This means we are alive as Spirit before we CHOOSE to be human. Many of us forget that we were made in God’s image and not vice versa. God is Spirit and so are we. Even humans’ basic image of God is one of God as human. We call God Him or Her, still thinking in human terms. What is Spirit? Do you know your Spirit? Being human is only part of your identity!

From this Spiritual perspective, Christ was a Messenger about the reality of Spirit. You often here people talk about how Christ is their savior without a realization of from what they were being saved. Many Christians say CHRIST SAVED ME FROM MY SINS, while going out and committing many more of the sins they say from which Christ was saving them. Convoluted? Yes!

Christ was actually saving folks from not knowing their greater identity as Spirit. Christ said, GOD IS SPIRIT, AND THOSE THAT WISH TO WORSHIP HIM MUST DO SO IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH. When you don’t know your greater Identity, you commit acts that go against your fellow person, however, it really impacts your life through the Spiritual Law of Sowing and Reaping or Karma. So, for example, you steal money from a person, and the Universe responds by someone taking your mate from you. The act of stealing then has come full circle with it impacting your life in even a greater fashion. That’s what Sin is. Committing acts that go against self.  Familiarize yourself with Spiritual Law.

You are impacted by Spiritual Law whether you believe in it or not. Spiritual ignorance often leads one to irresponsible behavior, with the idea that you’re getting away with something. LIFE HAPPENS IN THE SPIRIT’S TIME. The Spirit will affect you when and where you least expect it.  The energy you put out is coming back at you, stronger.

Christ often told followers that it was their faith in Him that made it possible for Him to create acts that changed their lives. This was done because too many people, just like today, don’t realize they have a Spiritual Identity. So Christ, having lived as Spirit on this human journey, became the Spiritual conduit for those folks (unaware of their own Spirit) to interact with God. Once people find their Spirit Identity, faith in Christ isn’t necessary because you’ve established a direct connection. FAITH IS ONLY NECESSARY BECAUSE YOU HAVEN’T EXPERIENCED THE TRUTH OF WHAT CHRIST SPOKE.

2) YOU CHOSE YOUR TIME OF ENTRY INTO THE PHYSICAL WORLD, YOUR PARENTS AND THE CONDITIONS OF EXISTENCE WHILE AS SPIRIT. So the truth is WE ALL CHOSE TO BE BORN, INCLUDING THE ETHNIC, RELIGIOUS AND THE RACIAL GROUP WE CHOOSE TO BE A PART. As Spirit we choose the parameters of our experiences in physical reality before becoming human.

3) HOMOSEXUALITY, HETEROSEXUALITY, BI-SEXUALITY, ETC. ARE CHOSEN BEFORE WE’RE BORN. From a human perspective, homosexuality is as much a Spiritual parameter as heterosexuality. The reality is we all have the potential for bi-sexuality. Homosexuality and heterosexuality are the extremes of the sexual spectrum. Everything, in the middle of the continuum, are degrees of bi-sexuality.

4) WE ARE MULTI-DIMENSIONAL AS HUMANS AND AS SPIRIT. As humans we tend to view the outer world as real while viewing the inner world as inconsequential, however both are multi-dimensional. Physical reality just is, however each of us has unconsciously created a belief system that has us viewing this physical reality according to those beliefs (the inner world). Dreams have lost their importance in those countries in the western hemisphere with respect to its creative capacity, and its being a key tool in overcoming challenges in the physical world. Most of us would find it hard to believe that the inner world is as detail, if not more so, than the physical world. Nevertheless, everything we see in the physical world first started from the inner one.

5) WE ARE BELIEVERS WHO CREATE INNER AND OUTER REALITY ACCORDING TO THOSE BELIEFS. The narrower your beliefs, the narrower your reality. The more expansive your beliefs, the more expansive your reality. Beliefs are made real by the amount of intensity there is behind them.

6) DREAMS ARE A GATEWAY TO ALL OTHER REALITIES. Too many of the dream institutes studying dreams are too consumed with the machinery they use in the attempt to measure dreaming than they are in the experience itself. Rapid Eye Movement is given too much focus when it comes to dreaming, when there are other areas of dreaming that man’s machines cannot measure and REM doesn’t take place. There are realities of sound, light and colors, sensations, etc. that our present day machines will not pick up. These machines usually will read brain waves, breathing, heartbeat, etc. that are of no use in many higher states of consciousness.

I lived in Harlem, New York for 17 years with virtually 3 churches on every other block. The disappointing thing was even after all of the traffic in Harlem on Sunday mornings, there was never a significant change in the community that would say those churches were reaching the populus. Forgiveness for your sins doesn’t truly empower anyone to do anything wonderful. However, knowing who and what you are, and the power you have within is enough to empower folks into creating a better life.

I DON’T WANT YOU TO TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. I WANT YOU TO EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF. REMEMBER YOU CREATED THE LIFE OF WHICH YOU’RE IN THE MIDST. BEING MORE CONSCIOUSLY AWARE OF THE SPIRIT IN YOU WILL ASSIST YOU IN CREATING A MORE FULFILLING LIFE. FAITH IS NOT NECESSARY WHEN YOU KNOW THE TRUTH! EXPERIENCE THE TRUTH!
