IF YOU'RE BORED, YOU'RE BORING!

How many times have you heard someone say this or thought this yourself? When I was a teenager, I remember saying on occasions to friends about how I bored easily; as though the world was supposed to entertain me. Ironically, the number of adults who make the same statement today would amaze you.

There are people who believe that others are here for their pleasure and entertainment. You have people who believe friends and lovers who can’t keep them excited and/or entertained, have no business being in their lives. These folks are so self-absorbed they can’t see how they are the epitome of their own pomposity and the maker of their own hell. Who the f*** are these people?

You can find these folks in your family, circle of friends, in the work place, your place of worship, and just in the public at large. The amazing thing is they come in all shapes, sizes, colors, races, gender, sex orientation, religious and non-religious groups.

These folks aren’t really narcissists because even a true narcissist understands the need to create one’s own fun. These folks are spoiled and rather save the work for others. You could say I’m a narcissist because I found a way to integrate the passions I have to the degree that they create my life.

Life owes us nothing. We create movement in our lives by taking action. Even inaction is an action. According to Spiritual Law, the action you take (>), comes back at you bigger and stronger (<). If we just kept this one principle in mind regarding how we live our lives, many of us would see a whole new life develop. But there would still be those who believe they can beat the law. Not so! The effect of Spiritual Law impacts you whether you are aware of it or not. And the effect often comes at a time that’s critical in your life. Too often, we don’t make a connection between what we do and what occurs in our lives. It’s in this disconnect that often keeps people in a rut of making the same mistakes over and over. Sowing and Reaping/Karma is one of the forces of Spiritual Law that is behind your actions and the events that occur in your life – whether you know it or not, or even disregard it.

Do you know what really quizzes a person of power, riches and material wealth? A person truly unimpressed or affected by those things, and can see through the show to see the true nature of the person. Just that alone makes the unimpressed person, one of power. The power of not being blinded by the bling and the benjamins – like average folks tend to be.

The person discarding lovers or friends because they fail to excite or entertain is not a person you really want to be with – they’re self-absorbed. Those with low self-esteem tend to want to hang on to these people, as though these folks give them self worth. It’s an illusion. It doesn’t matter whether the self-absorbed person has charisma or not.

How many people are in a relationship or marriage with a partner who isn’t really there. Too often, we let these folks get away with murder, figuratively. Usually, it’s because we don’t have a life of our own and identify too closely with them. Folks like this often don’t know their passions, which would put them on life paths made just for them. This is called, BEING TRUE TO YOURSELF. From a Christian point of view it would be discovering God’s gifts for you and sharing them with the world.

A friend once said to me, EVERYONE HAS SELF WORTH. WHY DO WE MAKE SUCH A BIG THING ABOUT IT? I answered, ALTHOUGH WE ALL HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF SELF WORTH, WE ALL EXPERIENCE IT IN DIFFERENT DEGREES. IT’S OUR JOB TO OPTIMIZE THE SELF WORTH WITHIN US. We also build self-esteem when we overcome challenges in our lives, learn more about our inner landscape (self-image, dreams, thoughts, ideas and especially beliefs) and improve our physical, mental and Spiritual health through their synchronicity.

Much of the American population is divisive and critical of one another due to the widespread lack of self worth throughout the nation. People who pick out the flaws of others lack self esteem and often are unhappy with their own lives. So to appear superior, they highlight the flaws of others. Ladies, you know you have girlfriends who are just like this. Guys, too! Some guys get together and become uncontrollable numbskulls trying to one up each other for public attention.

When we have a good self image, we see others in a more positive light. Rush, Sean, Ann and O’Reilly are making a fortune off of the lack of self-worth many Americans feel, and yet find fault with others. They feel better thinking they are somehow better than those they complain about. It’s a sickness that has led this country to traveling a path to its destruction.

The person that’s bored takes responsibility for their happiness and fulfillment by doing the research into self. Boredom is a signal of lacking self-awareness. When we enhance our feeling of self worth, we see ourselves in a new light which is projected outward to others.

WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THE UNDERLYING REASONS FOR BEHAVIOR THE THINGS WE WITNESS IN LIFE TAKE ON NEW MEANING. It’s what makes symbolism so important since it allows you to read the behavior of others.

People act on their beliefs, something most of us don’t realize. People also speak their beliefs in their conversations. Even the lies folks tell say something about their personality and character. There are patterns of beliefs that we base our lives on. Once I discover the pattern or foundation of one’s beliefs, I can read you like a book. Your motivations, your likes and dislikes, your flaws, your gifts, and your strengths are there for the plucking. Through the examination of my own beliefs, this talent came as a bonus. You can do it too, based on your interest level in finding out who and what you are.

This information is priceless with respect to getting from point A to point B in life. It improves the choices you make, it assists in bringing power to your actions, and makes it easier to transform ideas, thoughts and dreams into physical reality.

IN LIFE, YOU WILL NEVER REACH A POINT WHERE YOU’VE DONE EVERYTHING AND BEEN EVERYWHERE. LIFE IS INFINITE! People who talk like that, no matter how rich or powerful, are only talking from a point of comparing themselves to average people; it has nothing to do with the reality of life which is infinite.

True people of power don’t have to manipulate others, they use the natural flow of the Universe, and put themselves in that flow, in harmony and synchronicity. In doing so, you’ll never be bored again.
