DO WE REALLY WANT TO CONTINUE BUSINESS AS USUAL WITH THE CLINTONS?

posted Tuesday, 22 April 2008
Bill and Hillary Clinton have always been looked upon favorably by me after having brought about a great economy back in the 90's that our current President wishes he had.  But we've enter a new millenium calling for a different way of looking at the world.  Since the Clintons left the White House, their connection to big business, and the military industrial complex has both becoming part of the problem and not the solution.  Case in point: Hillary's being on the Board of Directors of Walmart, the holding company for everything imported from China.  How can Hillary give us the best universal health care when she's in the pockets of insurance companies, drug companies and HMO's?
Most disappointing has been her negativity toward Obama while accusing him of going negative.  His responding to her negative comments is her example of him going negative.  What am I missing?  NOTHING!  Hillary is desperate and she will do anything to try to win this thing.  I DON'T WANT HILLARY AS MY PRESIDENT, NOR DO I WANT HER AS MY SENATOR FROM NEW YORK.  HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OF SOME OF WHAT'S STRANGE ABOUT BILL AND HILLARY!

Bill Clinton and Reverend Wright at the White House during the Monica Lewinsky Scandal.
HILLARY'S PASTOR DEFENDS BARACK'S PASTOR!
Hillary might as well call her smear dogs off asap! God is talking through her preacher, Dean J. Snyder of Foundry United Methodist Church .
 26 Mar 2008 07:27 am
"The Reverend Jeremiah Wright is an outstanding church leader whom I have heard speak a number of times. He has served for decades as a profound voice for justice and inclusion in our society. He has been a vocal critic of the racism, sexism and homophobia which still tarnish the American dream. To evaluate his dynamic ministry on the basis of two or three sound bites does a grave injustice to Dr. Wright, the members of his congregation, and the African-American church which has been the spiritual refuge of a people that has suffered from discrimination, disadvantage, and violence. Dr. Wright, a member of an integrated denomination, has been an agent of racial reconciliation while proclaiming perceptions and truths uncomfortable for some white people to hear. Those of us who are white Americans would do well to listen carefully to Dr. Wright rather than to use a few of his quotes to polarize. This is a critical time in America 's history as we seek to repent of our racism. No mat ter which candidates prevail, let us use this time to listen again to one another and not to distort one another's truth,"

Walking Eagle  This might be a joke!  Sent to me in an email.  Take it with a grain of salt!

Senator Hillary Clinton was invited to address a major gathering of the
American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upper New York state. She
spoke for almost an hour on her future plans for increasing every Native
American's present standard of living should she one day become the
first female President. She referred to her career as a New
York senator, how she had signed 'YES' for every Indian issue that came
to her desk for approval. Although the senator was vague on the
details of her plan, she seemed most enthusiastic about her future ideas
for helping her 'red sisters and brothers.' At the conclusion of her
speech, the tribes presented the senator with a plaque inscribed with
her new Indian name Walking Eagle. The proud senator then departed in
her motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they'd
come to select the new name given to the Senator. They explained that
Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of shit it can no
 longer fly.

I'M STARTING TO BELIEVE THE INDIANS HAVE THIS RIGHT!
QUESTION EVERYTHING!  THAT'S WHERE THE TRUTH RESIDES.

Wowzers. I can't believe she sits on the board of walmart. I think that did it for me.

Like the elders would say though: "When they come for you, it wont be strangers, it will be the ones close"

Former friends, in the art of politics, become scapegoats.

Yeah Mel, just like the Mafia! It's as though big business and our politicians have turned into traitors since they are not representing us anymore. Plus, Hillary has this thing in her that she has to prove she is tough as any man. That means we can end up being at war with Iran just like McCain would probably do. Is this something we need? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

I have said it before and I'll say it again, when will elections go back to being elections not popularity contests!I'm getting sick of the slander ,the he said she said and everyone trying to cover their tracks.None of them is presently talking about anything other than schoolyard gossip and I am tired of it!All this graveyard digging for ammunition is nausiating.I am glad that the my Canadian elections are not the same sort of sorted production they are in the USA.

Capt., in my opinon, right now America needs a tough and pragmatic President. The economy, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, global warming and many other issues are all intricately entwined. We can choose to have a weak, socialist leaning President who will give good speeches about these issues or a strong capitalistic President that will do something about these issues. Barack Obama despite all the hype, is still an unknown player. The negative things that have come up in the Dem primaries are just the tip of the iceburg. We all know Karl Rove and the Republicans have a lot more dirt on Obama. Hilary Cliinton probably could say more but for the good of the party she doesn't. Hilary's warts and blemishes we all know and there is nothing new to bring up. In my opinion, Hilary has the best chance to beat McCain and really do something concrete for America the next four years.

Unfortunately Mo, you're suffering from fear of the unknown and are willing to accept the status quo because of it. I wouldn't want someone who could find Bush to be a proper President to make a decision for me as important as this one regarding leadership. I'd stand in the trenches with you Mo, but I would never look to you to make the proper decision regarding leadership. You are lacking vision. And even with that I THINK YOU'RE A GREAT GUY!

Angela, it's crazy how the media throws distractions in the way of issues and the people fall for it. I believe it's done purposely.
