HELL YEAH, I'M A BITTER AMERICAN! AND WITH GOOD REASON!

posted Monday, 14 April 2008

President Bush’s Administration couldn’t have been worse for the American people if Osama Bin Laden had been the head of operations. The assault on middle and working class families, taking middle class jobs overseas for cheap labor on our tax dollar. The greed of corporate America!  Welcoming illegal immigrants to invade our nation taking additional jobs and suppressing wages, as well. A housing mortgage scandal (scam) has taken our homes from us through Bush’s and Republicans’ deregulation of the banks. A failing education system not supported by the business community and the cost of college has risen tremendously, in the past 8 years, making it more difficult for our children to experience the American Dream. The cost of gas has almost tripled since Bush invaded Iraq for revenge and oil and threatens to invade Iran. HELL YEAH, I’M BITTER!

This President has used our blessed Constitution as his personal toilet paper, after having sworn to protect it, twice! Multiple ways of spying on U.S. citizens, doing away with Habeas Corpus (a pillar of our Constitution), making citizens enemy combatants, engaging in torture while lying about it, the use of imminent domain as a way to take Americans’ private property to give to a developer to make money. I’M, KISS MY ASS BITTER!

The failure of our military has nothing to do with our brave men and women in uniform, but the strategies of George Bush has weakened our Armed Forces, literally. He’s used/abused them and has created an image of a super army that is more of a paper tiger. The world sees that for all of our strengths, military equipment, money and might, we’re not as powerful as most people around the world believed. The curtain has been raised on the wizard and the power of the U.S. is less awed. Invading Iraq has created a karma the U.S. will be re-cooperating from for a long time. By the way, we’re in the midst of reaping the seeds we continue to sow in Iraq – a failing economy, loss of jobs, inflation, high oil prices, decreasing middle class, loss of homes, fires, floods, storms, droughts, an ever growing debt, etc. I’M LET’S LOCK UP BUSH AND CHENEY FOR HIGH CRIMES AND NOT UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION BITTER.

The value of our dollar keeps decreasing due to our importing more goods than we export and a poor fiscal policy. It has decreased even more with so-called American businesses moving overseas for cheap labor, leaving service jobs with lower wages. The money for the war in Iraq and the tax cuts to the rich and big business has been borrowed mainly from China and Japan, further increasing our trade deficit. We are closing in, quickly, on at $10 trillion debt with our grand children (maybe great grands) having to participate in the payback. $12 billion a month is spent in Iraq.

The Secretary of Treasury Paulson, and the Fed Chairman Bernanke are introducing economic and financial policies that have very little long term stimulus. Each time Bernanke lowers the prime interests rates, the value of your money on hand and in the bank lowers. The bail out of Bear Stearns that Bernanke and Paulson agreed on should have been a loan to Bear Stearns, not a give away. This is a moneymaking establishment. Give the people back their money. They should be re-negotiating many of these mortgages to allow single homeowners to maintain their homes. The whole country would benefit. Sorry speculators, developers and those with multiple homes, you are not included. I’M CORPORATE SELL OUT BITTER!

The longterm prognosis for the U.S. is fine if we create new economic bubbles with good paying jobs in fixing our infrastructure and building energy independence through alternative fuels. NOT MORE OIL! MORE OIL WILL NOT MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE DUE TO THE DEMAND FOR IT. We will need a jobs program to rebuild the infrastructure and expand our economy and build a tax revenue base to deal with our debt. We also need a President that sees the low value of our dollar as a way to get manufacturing going again in the U.S. making our products more affordable to the world. Even if it means enticing foreign producers here, in order to do it.

To blame Barack Obama for telling a truth you don’t want to hear is about as stupid as spitting against the wind. THE TRUTH HURTS! But it’s better to deal with each other from the point of truth, than basing reality on chaotic lies.

QUESTION EVERYTHING!  THAT'S WHERE THE TRUTH RESIDES.

Everything you say is true Capt. All of us are angry and bitter with just cause. This is just another nit picky way of stone throwing.

Catty, there are times you want to scream out at the media, STICK TO THE ISSUES! The sideshow is a distraction to what's important and those who want to maintain the status quo will attempt this till November. It's up to Americans to be smarter and less fearful this time!

Even though I am a Canadian I am upset about how Bush's errors have caused our military to have to fight in this god forsaken war too.Hell we were practically on the hit list of the U.S.A when at first we resisted joining the war.I can not wait until you get a new president!

Angela, I can't believe that 45% of the people in this country is for McCain considering how the Republican Party has ruined this nation over the last almost 8 years. I would think you are either rich or stupid or both to vote for ANY Republican at this point. Some people are slow learners.

McCain is not the answer to WHAT DOES AMERICA NEED AT THIS TIME?

Capt., there are a lot of single issue voters here in PA also, so I'm sure there are plenty in the rest of the country. We stopped hanging around with one couple because the wife said she would only vote for candidates who were pro-life. It didn't matter if they were Democrat or Republican. They could have been corporate whores who wanted all women out of the workforce, mandatory prayer in all schools, euthanasia for everyone over 75, death penalty for sex crimes against children, amnesty and open borders for all, because as long as they were pro-life the rest didn't matter. How's that for short sighted and stupid.

Catty, it's unbelieveable that people are that way but it's a sign that Americans' ability, to analyze life conditions, is wanting. I'm hoping Pennsylvania will surprise us - in a good way.

Uh. I was thinking.

Recently we were discussing NY and we praised the energy coming from it. Then it hit me.

Maybe we should do something about the diversity in congress. Since we are all for change....and all.

It has come to my realization that out of 435 Reps, about 20-30 are hispanics. Out of 100 senators, about 2-3 are hispanics. And of course, the other minorities.

America is.....not a melting pot. In my opinion.

New York City IS a Melting pot, The seat of the empire, and for that, I'm grateful. Specifically, new york city, because New York State, is...like America. America is about 75% white, but....I don't think it's a good idea to have one race there. Another interesting fact is that the average age of these congressmen and few women are about 50. They want change, then lets talk change, ...like....real change.

I'm not bitter, I'm mad as hell! In all my years as a voter Ive never been able to vote for anything but the lesser of two evils. I'm so angry that the truth is shunned by so many people. I'm mad as hell that our country is being sold out to the highest bidder and will leave our children with crumbs, I am mad as hell that people running for the highest office in our country can laugh and joke about their lies and proclaim that most of the country doesn't count because they dont conform to their wishes, To lie is one thing, To throw it in our faces with laughter and treat us like ignorant fools is something else all together! I''m MAD as HELL that many people will let thhem get away with it!

Mel, if you look over on the Democrat side of the aisle in the House Of Representatives you will see the diversity that you think we should have in government. However, when you look over on the Republican side there's a sea of white folks - no Blacks, maybe 5 Hispanics, and a couple of Asians.

Mary Blue, I'm bitter and mad as hell. I've got a wary eye on the voting public cause I'm not too sure THEY WON'T BE FOOLED AGAIN.

Well thats the thing sir, that diversity is very minute. It's not enough. The people need to realize this too. It's like going to NYC and looking at all the sexy women, compared to going to a state where diversity is not so potent. Options and competition is what America was built on, and one of thee sacred principles of our Economy. Then theres also that thing that most republicans are "rich".

Oh and uh, I didn't lke it when Clinton took that lil sip of alcohol on national television with the other folks. I understand she's trying to be like the others, but thats exactly what makes her a follower, not a leader. and you know I don't stand well with alcoholism :).

But back to the case. The house is the slave of the people, and if the slaves of the people look like theyre working against us then it's a bad thing. This was seen in the 10 commandments :D. I think this really needs to be reprimanded by the people. Luckily, they are in for 2 and 6 and not 4 or 8. It's unfortunate that a lot of folk don't even know their reps. If you ask a new yorker who their senator is, schumer might not come immediately to mind.

I'm writing a letter to my rep, to have a talk about outsourcing. And I'm still against dunken donuts. they can dunk themselves to hell, Fight the power!!! Two four six eight, dunken donuts is the place I hate. Hoorah.
