HELL YEAH, I'M A BITTER AMERICAN! AND WITH GOOD REASON!

posted Sunday, 13 April 2008

President Bush’s Administration couldn’t have been worse for the American people if Osama Bin Laden had been the head of operations. The assault on middle and working class families, taking middle class jobs overseas for cheap labor on our tax dollar. The greed of corporate America!  Welcoming illegal immigrants to invade our nation taking additional jobs and suppressing wages, as well. A housing mortgage scandal (scam) has taken our homes from us through Bush’s and Republicans’ deregulation of the banks. A failing education system not supported by the business community and the cost of college has risen tremendously, in the past 8 years, making it more difficult for our children to experience the American Dream. The cost of gas has almost tripled since Bush invaded Iraq for revenge and oil and threatens to invade Iran. HELL YEAH, I’M BITTER!

This President has used our blessed Constitution as his personal toilet paper, after having sworn to protect it, twice! Multiple ways of spying on U.S. citizens, doing away with Habeas Corpus (a pillar of our Constitution), making citizens enemy combatants, engaging in torture while lying about it, the use of imminent domain as a way to take Americans’ private property to give to a developer to make money. I’M, KISS MY ASS BITTER!

The failure of our military has nothing to do with our brave men and women in uniform, but the strategies of George Bush has weakened our Armed Forces, literally. He’s used/abused them and has created an image of a super army that is more of a paper tiger. The world sees that for all of our strengths, military equipment, money and might, we’re not as powerful as most people around the world believed. The curtain has been raised on the wizard and the power of the U.S. is less awed. Invading Iraq has created a karma the U.S. will be re-cooperating from for a long time. By the way, we’re in the midst of reaping the seeds we continue to sow in Iraq – a failing economy, loss of jobs, inflation, high oil prices, decreasing middle class, loss of homes, fires, floods, storms, droughts, an ever growing debt, etc. I’M LET’S LOCK UP BUSH AND CHENEY FOR HIGH CRIMES AND NOT UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION BITTER.

The value of our dollar keeps decreasing due to our importing more goods than we export and a poor fiscal policy. It has decreased even more with so-called American businesses moving overseas for cheap labor, leaving service jobs with lower wages. The money for the war in Iraq and the tax cuts to the rich and big business has been borrowed mainly from China and Japan, further increasing our trade deficit. We are closing in, quickly, on at $10 trillion debt with our grand children (maybe great grands) having to participate in the payback. $12 billion a month is spent in Iraq.

The Secretary of Treasury Paulson, and the Fed Chairman Bernanke are introducing economic and financial policies that have very little long term stimulus. Each time Bernanke lowers the prime interests rates, the value of your money on hand and in the bank lowers. The bail out of Bear Stearns that Bernanke and Paulson agreed on should have been a loan to Bear Stearns, not a give away. This is a moneymaking establishment. Give the people back their money. They should be re-negotiating many of these mortgages to allow single homeowners to maintain their homes. The whole country would benefit. Sorry speculators, developers and those with multiple homes, you are not included. I’M CORPORATE SELL OUT BITTER!

The longterm prognosis for the U.S. is fine if we create new economic bubbles with good paying jobs in fixing our infrastructure and building energy independence through alternative fuels. NOT MORE OIL! MORE OIL WILL NOT MAKE IT MORE AFFORDABLE DUE TO THE DEMAND FOR IT. We will need a jobs program to rebuild the infrastructure and expand our economy and build a tax revenue base to deal with our debt. We also need a President that sees the low value of our dollar as a way to get manufacturing going again in the U.S. making our products more affordable to the world. Even if it means enticing foreign producers here, in order to do it.

To blame Barack Obama for telling a truth you don’t want to hear is about as stupid as spitting against the wind. THE TRUTH HURTS! But it’s better to deal with each other from the point of truth, than basing reality on chaotic lies.

QUESTION EVERYTHING!  THAT'S WHERE THE TRUTH RESIDES.

You ever considered running for Congress? The House is not impossible....

Not to gas you up or anything ;)...but you have good motivation and drive to make a change in this country. Too bad not everyone share your enthusiasm. Enthusiasm and opportunities are what we need.

Tell me. How does one succeed in college, if the "average" cost for a year's semester, just for a bachelors, is 35 G's, excluding transportation...EATING...and books and a social life, if that's even possible. Yeah, theres Fafsa and such but...really.... I know a person who's mother just finished paying her college tuition debt. *Shaking head*

Regarding the politicians. The politics of the Old, are as childish as the politics of children. It's a shame that adults cause a big mess for children. This was seen, years back, like the whole drug epidemic.

We need leaders who are not just humans.

Theres a lot of things that could be rectified. Like Dell...and eastern correspondents. Thwart away them, and let americans handle the phone business. In human nature, we often go after the bigger picture, while leaving the smaller things unanswered. After a while, the small things, become the big issues. By correcting smaller issues, we help diminish the bigger issue and rectify the situation.

I mean this is a great country. It's better than a country where there are tape worms sitting in someones stomach. Where we can have heat, and still complain that it's cold. Where we can have most luxuries and still desire godliness. Part of us being great is our innovation and creative minds. I think if we sat down with a million children, each one would have something they are passionate about. We need to unlock those potentials.

As I always say. I'm going to keep hustling America for all it's milk and crackers and doing what I do best.

But we need leaders who are more than humans.

Mel, I've been a leader all of my life. It came from seeing something I wanted to do and motivating others to want to do it with me. But in politics, people often look for perfection in their leaders. I'm not perfect, and would be more like N.Y. Governor Patterson in revealing all my foibles. We learn from our errors in life. Errors aren't inherently bad. I've learned from mine to be who I am today. And I don't apologize for having to learn like everyone else. It's only when we believe we have perfect leaders that the population is seriously fooling itself. When we come to that level of understanding of human nature, then I might consider running for Congress. ;] Mel, it was nice of you to think of me in those terms, though! ;]

Yeah you'd make a good congress person. And we wouldn't need to write our problems to you, we could just complain to you over http://thecapt.blog-city.com :D.

Like I said though. We need leaders who are more than humans. Leaders who are leaders, not just a human who wanted the job, for the sake of wanting it. Someone who really and truly wants to make a difference.

You'd make a great leader because you have an ear for the people.

Well, like I've learnt these few weeks. A conqueror doesn't question his lot in life, but resolves to handle it. Fight on brotha.
