DO WE REALLY WANT TO CONTINUE BUSINESS AS USUAL WITH THE CLINTONS?

posted Wednesday, 23 April 2008
Bill and Hillary Clinton have always been looked upon favorably by me after having brought about a great economy back in the 90's that our current President wishes he had.  But we've enter a new millenium calling for a different way of looking at the world.  Since the Clintons left the White House, their connection to big business, and the military industrial complex has both becoming part of the problem and not the solution.  Case in point: Hillary's being on the Board of Directors of Walmart, the holding company for everything imported from China.  How can Hillary give us the best universal health care when she's in the pockets of insurance companies, drug companies and HMO's?
Most disappointing has been her negativity toward Obama while accusing him of going negative.  His responding to her negative comments is her example of him going negative.  What am I missing?  NOTHING!  Hillary is desperate and she will do anything to try to win this thing.  I DON'T WANT HILLARY AS MY PRESIDENT, NOR DO I WANT HER AS MY SENATOR FROM NEW YORK.  HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OF SOME OF WHAT'S STRANGE ABOUT BILL AND HILLARY!

Bill Clinton and Reverend Wright at the White House during the Monica Lewinsky Scandal.
HILLARY'S PASTOR DEFENDS BARACK'S PASTOR!
Hillary might as well call her smear dogs off asap! God is talking through her preacher, Dean J. Snyder of Foundry United Methodist Church .
 26 Mar 2008 07:27 am
"The Reverend Jeremiah Wright is an outstanding church leader whom I have heard speak a number of times. He has served for decades as a profound voice for justice and inclusion in our society. He has been a vocal critic of the racism, sexism and homophobia which still tarnish the American dream. To evaluate his dynamic ministry on the basis of two or three sound bites does a grave injustice to Dr. Wright, the members of his congregation, and the African-American church which has been the spiritual refuge of a people that has suffered from discrimination, disadvantage, and violence. Dr. Wright, a member of an integrated denomination, has been an agent of racial reconciliation while proclaiming perceptions and truths uncomfortable for some white people to hear. Those of us who are white Americans would do well to listen carefully to Dr. Wright rather than to use a few of his quotes to polarize. This is a critical time in America 's history as we seek to repent of our racism. No mat ter which candidates prevail, let us use this time to listen again to one another and not to distort one another's truth,"

Walking Eagle  This might be a joke!  Sent to me in an email.  Take it with a grain of salt!

Senator Hillary Clinton was invited to address a major gathering of the
American Indian Nation two weeks ago in upper New York state. She
spoke for almost an hour on her future plans for increasing every Native
American's present standard of living should she one day become the
first female President. She referred to her career as a New
York senator, how she had signed 'YES' for every Indian issue that came
to her desk for approval. Although the senator was vague on the
details of her plan, she seemed most enthusiastic about her future ideas
for helping her 'red sisters and brothers.' At the conclusion of her
speech, the tribes presented the senator with a plaque inscribed with
her new Indian name Walking Eagle. The proud senator then departed in
her motorcade, waving to the crowds.

A news reporter later inquired to the group of chiefs of how they'd
come to select the new name given to the Senator. They explained that
Walking Eagle is the name given to a bird so full of shit it can no
 longer fly.

I'M STARTING TO BELIEVE THE INDIANS HAVE THIS RIGHT!
QUESTION EVERYTHING!  THAT'S WHERE THE TRUTH RESIDES.

If the american people do not open their minds and really see what is happening with this primary then I believe they deserve what they will get. Unfortunately our children and grandchildren will suffer for it.

I see where Mo' thinks Barak is the weaker of the two. How sad that he does not see the strength in this black man who can stand up against the bigoted and controlling machines that have run our lives for ever. It's not the governments fault for where we are, it is OUR fault, the people for letting ourselves be blinded and manipulated and to give in to the suppression of critical thinking that our lives depend on!

What has he done for us? I don't blame Mo for not seeing his strength. How do you measure strength these days? By Words? Most people in his state doesn't know who he is. Most people in almost every state, only knows about half of their senators. If you go to NYC, the common folk know hilary but not schumer. He's an Icon...and kids like him (Because kids are prone to trends...)....and hes black...and he advocates things....and he has nice speeches...and hes colorful and plays basketball and he's had an interesting past, but has fixed it, but what has he done? It's just something I've been thinking about. I'm not picking sides, but It's just interesting. Respectively, would anyone like to tell this future voter, what has Barack Obama done?

This isn't about Hilary. This is about Obama.

But incase, you think i'm weaseling my way out, or being too chicanerish about this...It's true though...what have they done for us? We're talking about blindness and ignorance but here we all are, being sweet talked. I should've ran for president...

So since your the taker, Capt, what has Obama done for us? a Year ago more than 3 quarters of the country didn't even know about him (or any other senators) and now they are rockstars. Didn't Santa go around saying that he'd give good kids presents?!?! I've been a good kid for 17 years now, this mutha fudga owes me trillions of presents......--- I oughta write a letter to my representative about him. It's not even FAIR any more to compare the mafia to people as Evil as politicians.

The problem Mel is you're looking backward. And you did chump out about Hillary. The folks in upstate New York were promised by Hillary to bring 200,000 new jobs up there in her first term as Senator. They recently lost 30,000 jobs. Hillary says what she's gonna do for education but in New York we have one of the worse education systems in the nation. And if you read my entry you know her choices, better yet, her judgment has been putrid for everyday working people. So what's good about Obama is he isn't backed by big business but everyday people. And has shown better judgment than Hillary or McCain in the bills he supported. Hillary and John McCain are already bought and will not be FREE to do the people's bidding!

About the Chump thing. I didn't chump out because I covered myself by saying that we dont know much about these people other than what they sweet talk us with. Second of all, concerning chumping-ness, This wasn't about Hilary in the first place, so your the one chumping out for diverting the question ;).

I'm not satisfied with this answer. This isn't about McCain or how many jobs won or loss on the behest of Clinton. This is about Obama. Lets stop talking fluff and get down to the facts, because If I have to vote for one of these Democrats, I wanna know all I can. So you can answer the question of "What has Obama done for us?"...with a "Nothing"...or with answers. I'm asking questions, cause thats where the truth resides ;).

I'm not looking backward. I'm analyzing the past, to help me in the future. That is the ESSENCE of History. If I'm standing in a war trench, with a Sharp shooter and a War Nurse, and I have a mission where I have to snipe out the enemy, Am I not going to dig into the history of my allies to find out who has the best qualifications for the job?

And judging someone based on their political views is the same as judging someone harshly if they pick pepsi over coke. That has nothing to do with this but I felt I had to throw that again.

I'll wait until I get a better answer :).

My sweet friend Mel,

I have read so often how you believe in high morals, good judgement, honesty and integrity as well as strong family relationships. Step back and really take a look at both Obama and Clinton. Take a look at the kind of lives they live and seriously ask yourself what kind of person you want leading this country and influencing the people.

While Clinton boasts about her 8 yrs as the first lady and takes creidt for what Bill has done, Obama was out in the streets of Chicago REALLY helping people! Obama respects and taught constitutional law. Hillary failed the DC bar exam!

Ya know, I am not religious, the Catholic church killed that part of me when I was young, but isn't it ironic that even the Pope talks about Americans needing HOPE? Hilllary denounces hope.

You must not have read my entry THIS IS ABOUT HILLARY CLINTON. Maybe what you need to do is write an entry focusing on who you would like, but I'm afraid I'm in control here, Mel! ;]

Mary, this is true. I do believe in all these things. And I'm very proud of myself because they work, and as a kid who can't pin point many heroes left on earth, I feel like it's an obligation to be the best I can be. Widsom...is also something I'm proud of. Judge me for the prosperity I've brought to my household and my life, not only based on my belief system ;). My Wisdom and Good judgement encourages me to ask "What has Obama Done?". I keep saying this folks, but This isn't about Clinton. But know this, my mind is leaning towards Obama. I feel he is an adequate leader, and has good leadership skills. However, this doesn't matter at this point. I hope you guys aren't getting the feeling like I'm going against yall or im playing devils advocate, but in my mind theres just a missing information that I think you folks can answer. What has he done? Your touching on it...but I think you can go more deeper. The reason I wanna know this is because the American Mindframe is stuck in the present, and it would seem has disregarded the past history concerning our politicians. Maybe I'm not...presenting the correct question. The word Merit comes to mind. So, where is his Merit? What Merit does he have? Capt. this ISNT about Hilary Clinton. She is already written off in my book for that whole Walmart thing. Me and big business, have beef. But you'd know that because you know how I feel about Dunken Donuts. Writing an entry on who I'd like wouldn't help me in any way. Besides I don't like tainting my heart with political nonsense. Yeah, you are in control here, meaning you own your blog and you have the right to tell me to cease my fire, but you don't have control in this discussion because you haven't answered me yet. If you want me to cease fire, I'll back down, but just know that you haven't answered my question. How about an additional challenge? Try answering the question without any mention of any body else but Obama. I understand that he is a great icon, but where does his Merit come from. Nevermind his speeches and the present and future, I'd like to know the past. Like George Washington, We voted him in because he was a leader before, who actually made a change, and showed his moral standings and such and such. So what has Obama...done? In Ebonics 101, thats called "Putting work in". ;).

Mel, I keep telling you that he's shown good judgment in not backing bills that will hurt the American people. Why I am for him is because of his ideas for the future and the means to getting there. The specifics are on his website, and I've done at least 5 entries indicating what he brings to the table others don't. He's the best of the three because more thought goes behind his choices, he's a motivator for young and old and if we expect to get change in the future, we need someone who has the power to move people - or get them to act.

You did already mention this, but in my head, because you mentioned other people, it became current judgment. What I wanted to know was how did he judge in the past, not currently in the present. The Judgment you presented, seemed too current to me, because it dealt with Bills, But thats okay now because I've drawn my conclusion :).

  • passing the bar exam. Biggest Rally in America. Fighting for the people. Home grown. Iconic, mass mover. He definitely has good Merit. His power lies with his judgment. I like that. See, this had nothing to do with Clinton. Now, I feel like I'm answered. *Thumbs up*.

You know, on a whole different subject, since this one has officially come to a close, it's kinda interesting that...Hilary Clinton...who sits on the Board of Wal Mart...didn't take any steps to put money back into America, but instead, she just sat there, while the monster continues to drain money from our country.
